Chiwi - play and learn about hearing aids

With “Chiwi - play and learn about hearing aids” we wish to help children overcome some of the common barriers they meet when getting a hearing aid. The game addresses children of the age of 3-7 years.

The Chiwi universe

The game presents a magic universe, which is related to the experience of getting a hearing aid. As a parent we encourage you to help your child in playing the game and to talk about what the character Chiwi experiences. We are in a magic world where things are not quite as we are used to.

Chiwi is a small, blue character. He is sweet and curious, but cheeky. He needs help in order to understand what is going on when getting a hearing aid. In the Chiwi universe you will meet the audiologist, who, like Chiwi, is fictitious. The audiologist is very helpful towards Chiwi and gives advice throughout the game. They share the same fictitious language (please note that resemblance with any spoken language is not intended).
