How to play

This page gives you a thorough introduction to the Chiwi universe, its different scenes and functions. Access the game at the bottom of the page.

How to start

On the start page, click on the flag icon to select language, then choose the “play” button.

The consultation room - a virtual playground

In this imaginary consultation room you will find the menu bar, the speaking bubble icon and the tool icon.

The button allows you to adjust volume and screen quality of the game.
 

The button allows you to add a parental layer, which explains the different objects in the consultation room; press the icon again to quit this layer. 

In the top right corner you can play the game without sound. You can also activate animations by clicking on certain objects in the consultation room. This is for young players to explore.

Activities

In the menu bar below you can choose between four different activities:
 

Checking the ear

Chiwi is worried about what the otoscope is used for, and the audiologist allows Chiwi to investigate his ear to calm him down. Chiwi finds this amusing and the game starts. The activity takes place in an enlarged ear. Try to catch the diamonds. See what happens when you click on the cerumen monsters. After the game Chiwi willingly accepts to have his ears examined by the audiologist.

Hearing test

Chiwi is nervous about how the hearing test is made. The audiologist puts on the headset and the player is allowed to test the audiologist. Your task is to collect the right sounds. Once you have done that, Chiwi willingly allows the audiologist to test his hearing.

The impression

Chiwi is worried about getting the impression material in his ear. The audiologist wants to show Chiwi how the impression is made. He shows Chiwi a model. The model consists of three parts. You have to create the same shape as the template. When you succeed in doing so, Chiwi gladly allows the audiologist to insert the impression material into his ear.

Fitting the hearing aid

Chiwi does not wish to put the hearing aids on. The audiologist shows him how to place the hearing aids. During the game you are in an imaginary sound forest where you catch sounds. When you successfully finish the game, Chiwi puts on the hearing aids.
