The Audibility Extender Many hearing aid users cannot hear the most high-pitched sounds like children’s voices, birdsong and some notes in music. The Audibility Extender takes those sounds and reproduces them to an audible area, making them clear and comfortable.

SmartSpeak - verbal messaging system To help you to control hearing aid functions, Widex has created an innovative verbal messaging system, SmartSpeak. The system uses actual recorded speech to talk you through functions such as program mode and battery power. These clear, verbal messages come in a wide variety of languages in a male or female voice, making it much easier for you to adjust programs and settings.  See which languages are supported in SmartSpeak

The Speech Enhancer (mind440 only) The unique Speech Enhancer technology is a noise reduction system that allows you to hear conversation in noisy places. The Speech Enhancer takes into account the user’s individual hearing loss. It also takes the background noise in any situation and minimises it. This makes social interaction easier as conversation and speech are more clearly and comfortably discernible.

Music system (mind440 only) mind440 contains the revolutionary new Zen system – the world’s first music system integrated into a hearing aid. Zen is a range of five random harmonic tone sequences that you can listen to when you want. They aid relaxation, stress reduction and improve concentration.
