ISP

The unique Integrated Signal Processing platform allows all signal processes in Widex REAL to be continuously synchronised in accordance with changes in the listening environment and the individual hearing profile. This works to ensure optimum and individualised performance at all times – even in noisy environments.

Superb sound processing

Locator: The Locator helps the user hear better in everything from wind noise to conversations at a party. Microphone sensitivity is adjusted to improve the overall signal-to-noise ratio in all situations.

EDRC: The EDRC compression system ensures that soft sounds, such as dripping water, are audible, face-to-face conversation is intelligible and loud sounds, such as a crowd, remain comfortable.

Listening comfort

Classic noise reduction: Working in conjunction with the Locator, the Classic noise reduction system constantly analyses incoming sounds in order to distinguish between speech and noise.

Feedback cancelling: The Feedback canceller monitors changes in the listening environment that may cause feedback, giving less annoying whistling without compromising sound.

System optimiser

The unique EcoTech II system optimises power usage by making sure that Widex REAL only draws battery power when in active use.

Fast and easy fitting

The Widex REAL™ hearing aid series is quick and easy to fit. The user’s hearing is measured directly through Widex REAL. This way the hearing professional can ensure a precise and detailed analysis of the user´s hearing profile.
