My problem started in 1980-81, when I got an injury just before our Australia Tour. During the league matches at our camp I fractured my left jaw and I developed a hissing sound in my left ear. On my return I consulted my ENT specialist and got a through inspection of my ear done. By this time I had started experiencing a slight change in hearing from my left ear to right. Infact now I had to strain my ear to understand, what the other person was saying. I had started to feel fustrated because of my inability to hear. Surgery was definitely an option but then was suggested a hearing aid instead. “They are expensive, but definitely worth it for the comfort they gave me and on top of that, because of Widex I avoided a complicated and expensive surgery. Widex has given me a new life and I feel, that I should pass on this message to other people that have a hearing impairment. One just needs to come to terms and accept it. Widex will take care of the rest. | ![]() |
